A premier marrow donor program engaged Merakāta to create an enterprise analytics platform to interpret and understand donor conversion rates.
The Challenge
Our client had rich historical data locked up in departmental silos that could be better leveraged to make more informed and timely life-impacting decisions for bone marrow transplant patients. They needed a scalable analytics solution that would unlock the data and bring it together into a central datastore to make it discoverable and accessible through interactive dashboards.
The Solution
The project developed an enterprise analytics platform and delivered interactive dashboards based on prioritized business use cases. The first prioritized use case developed was used to improve the donor conversion rate – increasing the chances that a registered donor agrees to proceed with donation when identified as the best match for a patient needing a bone marrow transplant.
The Results
Merakāta developed a scalable enterprise analytics platform with an executive-level dashboard for exploratory research to identify the key drivers for improving the donor conversion rate.
